Job Details

Job Description:

  • The Supply Chain Project Control Officer will work with the procurement and project teams to support procurement needs and ensure project processes comply with organizational policies.
  • This role includes working with stakeholders to ensure sourcing documents are complete and accurate, maintaining documentation, supporting procurement system entries, and creating purchase orders.
  • The officer will also prepare briefing notes and other documentation as required.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with, and understanding of, procurement principles and processes.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools such as Workday, Client, or eSourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external clients while providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, accountability, and proven ability in delivery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Teams document repository and Excel.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing documents are complete and accurate.
  • Complete required entries into the applicable procurement system.
  • Maintain required documents and ensure a complete audit trail.
  • Draft briefing notes and other documentation as required.
  • Create and issue purchase orders.
  • Support project teams in meeting compliance with organizational procurement policies.
Should Have:
  • Knowledge of procurement methodologies and public sector procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of project management concepts, including project goals, risk, scope, planning, cost, and quality management.
  • Experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects to ensure timely delivery in line with organizational standards.
  • Experience collaborating with clients, managing project schedules, deliverables, and status reports.
  • Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate issues, identify risks, and manage project documentation.
  • Experience routing documents for signature using tools such as DocuSign and maintaining project document repositories.
  • Ability to monitor, track, and coordinate project requirements and provide accurate reporting to ensure targets are met.
  • Strong relationship management skills to handle client expectations, provide updates, and resolve conflicts between project and functional areas.
Qualification And Education:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred.
